Welcome to the School of Advanced Agriculture Science and Technology at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. Our school established in the year 2022, aims to impart education in agriculture and allied sciences and stands at the forefront of agricultural education. We offer undergraduate programs (B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and B.Sc. Food Science and Technology) and postgraduate programs (M.Sc. (Ag.) Agronomy, M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture in Vegetable Science / Fruit Science / Floriculture and Landscaping, M.Sc. Food Science and Technology, M.Sc. (Ag.) Soil Science, M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology and MBA Agri-Buisness Management). We at SAAST are committed to fostering an environment that encourages innovation, critical thinking, and hands-on experience, essential for addressing the evolving challenges in the field of agriculture.

The School of Advanced Agriculture Sciences and Technology (SAAST) at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University established in the academic session 2022-2023, is rapidly evolving into a premier center for agricultural education. Over the years, the school has expanded its offerings beyond B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture to include programs such as B.Sc. Food Science and Technology, M.Sc. (Ag.) Agronomy, M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture (Vegetable Science, Fruit Science and Floriculture), M.Sc. (Ag.) Soil Science, M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology, M.Sc. Food Science and Technology and MBA Agri-Buisness Management.
Our mission is to blend traditional agricultural knowledge with cutting-edge innovations. We emphasize on sustainable practices and technological advancements such as drones, artificial intelligence, precision farming, soilless cultivation and biotechnology. Our curriculum is designed to foster both academic excellence and practical skills, preparing students to lead in this rapidly evolving field of Agriculture.
