Dr. Shani Kumar Singh is an accomplished academic specializing in Agricultural Extension Education. He holds a Ph.D. (Ag.) and M.Sc. (Ag.) in Extension Education from Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U.), Varanasi, and has successfully qualified for the ICAR-NET, validating his expertise for teaching and research in agricultural universities across India. His research and teaching focus on agricultural technology transfer, ICT applications in agriculture, and rural development. Dr. Singh has made significant scholarly contributions, publishing 21 research papers, 6 book chapters, 2 review articles, 1 authored book (Instant General Agriculture) and participating in more than 30 national and International conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops, and trainings. His publications appear in reputed national and international journals and address topics such as mobile phone use among farmers, ICT influence on agricultural students, and constraints in technology adoption. Dr. Singh’s academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious honors, including the Young Scientist Award, Best Thesis Award, Best Scholar Award, and the UGC-Research Fellowship. He is an active Life Member of professional bodies such as the Indian Society of Extension Education (New Delhi), Society of Extension Education (Agra), and Rajasthan Society of Extension Education (Rajasthan).
