Abstract Submission Guidelines

The seminar’s interdisciplinary theme welcomes contributions from scholars across all related fields. Interested scholars are encouraged to submit abstracts that align with the sub-themes for potential paper presentations at the event. Abstracts should be submitted electronically to the seminar’s Organizing Secretary via email at: conference2024@csjmu.ac.in. Please use the subject line “Abstract of Paper for the Seminar” when submitting.

For abstract formatting, adhere to the following guidelines:

• Length: Abstracts should not exceed 300 words. This word limit applies to both the abstract submission and the final article intended for the proposed edited book.
• Font and Size: Use Times New Roman font, size 12. For abstracts in Hindi, employ Kurti Dev 10 with font size 14.
• Spacing: Maintain double line spacing throughout the abstract.
• Title: The title of the paper should be in capital letters and font size 12 (font size 14 for Hindi).
• Content: The content of the abstract should be in 11-point font size, a mix of upper and lower case.
• Keywords: Provide five keywords after the abstract content.
• Details: Include the following details: Sub-theme of the paper, Title of the Paper, Author’s name and designation, institutional affiliation, email address, and contact cell-phone number.

Ensure strict adherence to the specified formatting style for abstract submissions. Submissions that do not comply may be subject to exclusion from consideration.

The length of the full paper should fall within the range of 5000 to 8000 words.

Note :

1. Due to severe paucity of Funds, no TA/DA will be paid to the participants/delegates by the organizers of the seminar. The participants/delegates need to arrange their travel expenses from their respective universities/institutions. However, providing local hospitality will be our privilege.
2. No accommodation will be provided to local delegates/ participants. Further, it may not be possible to provide accommodation to outside delegates who come for on spot registration.
3. Registration Fee covers food and seminar kit for all registered delegates and also accommodation for outside delegates. (Outside participants will be provided breakfast, lunch and dinner, but local participants only lunch besides tea, etc.).
4. The delegates who want more comfortable accommodation and outside delegates who register on spot may stay in nearby hotels on payment basis for which the local Organizing Committee may extend co-operation.

General Rules for Participation

• Registration is mandatory for participation at the seminar. All the registered participants will be provided participation/presentation certificate.
• One participant would normally present one paper. However, in some exceptional cases, a participant may be allowed to present maximum two papers.
• Participants are required to produce photocopy/details of the original Demand Draft/ Multi City Cheque/ At Par cheque/RTGS/IMPS/QR code receipt, sent at the time of seminar for final registration.
• Spot Registration through Cash payment can be done at the venue of the seminar.
• Paper presenter will be normally given about 8 minutes for presentation and, hence are requested to organise the presentation accordingly.
