Dr. Gopal Singh joined Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur in 2020, as Assistant Professor. Before joining CSJM University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, has worked as Assistant Professor in College of Teacher Education, Darbhanga - Maulana Azad National Urdu University (A Central University), Hyderabad and RKG Educational College, Lucknow (Associated with University of Lucknow). He did his Ph.D. (Education) from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow. He has been qualified NET in education in Jun 2014, Dec 2014, Jul 2016, Jan 2017, Nov 2017 and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in education in Dec 2014 and Nov 2017. He has seven years of teaching experience at B.Ed. and M.Ed. Dr. Singh has participated and presented papers in numerous national and international seminars, conferences, workshops, and faculty development programmes (FDPs). His research contributions include 25 research papers published in peer-reviewed, refereed, UGC-listed, and Scopus-indexed journals of national and international repute. He is also an innovator, holding three national-level patents, and has authored the book “Teacher Education: An Indian Perspective” (AG Publishing House). In addition, he developed a research tool titled “Professional Expectation Questionnaire (PEQ)”, published by String Production. Dr. Singh has successfully completed two research projects under the Uttar Pradesh “Research & Development Scheme” and the “Centre of Excellence Scheme”. He actively contributes to academic publishing as a member of the editorial and review boards of three international journals of multidisciplinary research. He is also a member of various professional bodies dedicated to teacher education in India.
