Sunil Kumar's research focuses on identifying lung diseases through machine learning and imaging modalities and he has articles published in national and international journals. He has been teaching for over 12 years. He passed the University Grants Commission (UGC)-National Eligibility Test (NET) and the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). In 2010, he received his M. Tech, and in 2008, he received his B. Tech.
