Dr Shweta Pandey is a Deputy Librarian at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. She is graduated with Psychology Honors, holds PGDC and qualified for UGC-NET in Library and Information Sciences. She has also done many certification courses in the area of marketing. She has more than thirteen years of work experience in library administration and management. She gained rich experience working in a modern technology-driven environment. She served prestigious organisations like Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM) and the Central University of Rajasthan etc. She has always been an active team player in designing and setting up the library and has contributed to the organisation in various roles and responsibilities. She has undergone many specialised training programs and organised workshops, training programs, and conferences in the library and information science domain. As an Academic Counsellor, she taught bachelor's and master's programs at IGNOU and UPRTOU. She contributed many scholarly articles, book chapters, and edited books. She presented papers at National and international conferences and has also been invited as a resource person at several library professional programs. She is also associated with renowned Library associations like MANLIBNET, ILA and SLA.
