Dr. Alka Gupta is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgical Engineering at University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET); CSJMU Kanpur. She joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering in Feb 2017. She earned her doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from Indian institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) in 2017. Her research is concentrated on the role of ceramic oxide electrolyte (Ceria reinforced Yttria stabilised Zirconia )in enhancing the ionic conductivity of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) for clean and green Energy sustainability. She has also worked on multiferrioc material ( Bismuth Ferrite) for memory and sensors applications. She also did M.Tech from Materials Science Programme department; at IIT Kanpur. She has published over 6 articles in the peerreviewed international journals and two Book chapters in Elsevier and Springer publications. She has delivered over 11 presentations in the various national and international conferences and attended over 10 workshops in the field of Materials Science
