Department of Physics, School of Basic Sciences, has organized a seminar today on 18^th March on the occasion of 37^th Convocation of our university. A seminar was delivered by Prof. Anjan Kumar Gupta from the Department of Physics, IIT Kanpur.He has delivered the lecture on  “Quantum analogs in classical sound waves : avoided crossings and Fano interference”. He has explained to us how transmission of sound waves takes place through partitioned pipe and Fano interference & resonance. Faculty of Basic Sciences & UIET along with students has participated in this seminar.
