About the Programme: M.Sc. Integrated Biotechnology (inclusive of B.Sc. degree) is a five years course (ten semesters). The overall aim of the integrated biotechnology program is to provide a basic understanding of core principles and working knowledge of modern-day Biotechnology to learners. The learners will be practitioners and leaders in their chosen field with awareness of their social responsibility. The learners will be able to apply their intellectual and collaborative abilities for a better sustainable global future. The rapidly developing field of biotechnology is, offers opportunities for Learners with biotechnology backgrounds at the national and international level in the field of academics, research, pharmaceutical companies, fertilizer industry, food processing industries, entrepreneurship ventures, chemical industry, textile industry, aquaculture industries, and environment sector. The proposed program structure offers varied flexibility to the students in terms of exit routes. They are available only after completion of the first two semesters (leading to the award of a Certificate in Biotechnology). After completion of the fourth semesters and sixth semesters, candidates opting for exit will receive a Diploma in Biotechnology and B Sc. Degree in Biotechnology, respectively.

Eligibility: 10+2 certificate, (Biology/Mathematics group) with 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST/ Differently abled students as per norms).

Fee Structure: Rs. 30, 200/- in First Year and Rs. 5000 increase in every subsequent year
