Dr. Rohit is an assistant professor in the School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SAAST) at CSJM University, Kanpur. He completed his B.Sc. (Ag.) at Udai Pratap Autonomous College, Varanasi, and his M.Sc. (Ag.) in Extension Education from Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya. Dr. Rohit also earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management (PGDAEM) from the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad, through distance mode. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Rohit actively participated in extracurricular activities and demonstrated leadership qualities through his involvement with the National Cadet Corps ‘C’ Certificate (NCC) and the National Service Scheme (NSS). He qualified for the UGC-NET in Adult and Continuing Education in 2019 and 2021, in Mass Communication and Journalism in 2023, and the ASRB-NET in Agricultural Extension in 2023. Dr. Rohit has participated in and presented at more than 25 national and international seminars, workshops, and training sessions. He has authored one book, ten book chapters, ten research papers, and six popular articles. He began his career as an assistant professor in 2023 at Lords University, Alwar, Rajasthan. His diverse experience and active involvement in various professional and extracurricular activities reflect his potential to make significant contributions to the field of agricultural extension education.
