A workshop on the use of Computer Technology in Hindi and Sanskrit in the context of New Education Policy 2020 was organized by the Department of Computer Application, UIET from 25^th – 31^st March 2022. The workshop which was held in the online mode was attended by more than 100 faculty members from different affiliated colleges of CSJMU.

This workshop aimed at familiarizing the participants with the applications of two Indian languages – Hindi and Sanskrit in different aspects of Computer Technology. The topics that were covered included introduction to Computers and its history, Use and applications Sanskrit and Hindi in computers and their future, Introduction to software available in Hindi and Sanskrit, Online teaching-learning methods, Web-search, Facebook, Internet, Shodh-Ganga, Google Scholar, Digital Library, e- journals etc.
