Hon’ble Dy. CM DR DINESH SHARMA inaugurated the ‘Student Service Portal’ in the updated CSJMU website.
After many months of hard work and dedication for the welfare of students , CSJMU is pleased to announce the launch of ‘Student Service Portal’ for our updated website.
Our primary goal during the redesign process was to create a more valuable, student-centric and responsive website across all platforms and devices. Specifically, we dedicated the ‘Student Service Portal’ with a focus on making it easier for our students to learn and locate valuable information in educational domain like online lectures, Digital library, institutional updates and grievances, etc. We have also tried to make it easier for students to resolve administrative queries like Degree Certificate, Migration certificate, Marksheet certificate, Provisional certificate etc. through this portal.
This Resourceful initiative was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Dy. Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma. Upon which, He praised the efforts of the CSJMU Administration under Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak appreciated the last 6 months of his tenure in which CSJMU has witnessed phenomenal change, both in terms of education, and administration. Furthermore, he was pleased bye by the efforts CSJM University has put into the digitalization of the education system. he also added that this education will be beneficial in case the Third way of coronavirus happens. Apart from the web portal deputy CM Dr Dinesh Sharma also recommended that Kanpur CSJM University should start Sanskrit courses assuring financial aides for commencement and research in these courses from the state government. You also asked degree colleges to be considerate of students who have been promoted due to the covid-19 situation and develop an entrance system that would help these students in gaining higher education. He also remembers the rich history of Kanpur University by naming the prominent alumnus of this institution like president Ram Nath Kovind, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee etc.
He also thanked special guests of this event Minister of State for Higher Education and Science & Technology Smt. Neelima Katiyar, Mr. Mahesh Trivedi MLA, Mr. Surendra Meetani MLA, Dr. Arun Pathak, Mr. Suresh Awasthi and others for their efforts in strengthening the educational system.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak explained his vision of leading CSJM Unversity into the age of the 4th Indutrial revolution i.e. Data Automation, where man and machine are united. He also added that in the previous regimes Rs 4 cr. was spent on Data automation contracts to third parties, but now he plans to set up an in-house system for Data automation. The new website of CSJMU which was developed in-house is a practical example for the initiation of this vision, while he plans to build a Data Centre within the university in the upcoming months. He also announced the launch of an e-content Portal for colleges on 12 October, where teachers and students can upload their content that will be accessible for everyone. He also added that the welfare of students was his primary concern, and for that reason, he has set up a Student cell where all administrative work related to students are performed under one roof, these newly developed portals will be beneficial in resolving the difficulties of almost 2.5 lakh students.
Special thanks were given by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak to Dr Sandesh Gupta and his team for providing technical support with the web portal and appreciated their efforts for developing this within 20 days.
At this launch event Dean Administration Prof. Sudhanshu Pandya, Dean of student’s welfare Dr. Sudhir Kumar Awasthi, Dr Sanjay Swarnkar, Dr Praveen Katiyar, Dr. Vivek Sachan Dr. B.P. Singh, Dr. R. P. Singh, professor Savigya Awasthi were also present.
