Dr. Vaishali Soni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. A dedicated educator and researcher, she teaches chemistry at various levels, including B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Tech., and M.Sc. programs. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, having previously earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi. Her primary research focuses on heterogeneous catalysis and electrochemistry, specifically advancing oxygen reduction and evolution reactions (ORR and OER) for metal-air batteries (e.g., Li-Air, Zn-Air). Dr. Soni is also highly passionate about green and renewable energy, with active research interests in water splitting, hydrogen production, and photocatalysis for sustainable technological solutions.
