Dr Richa Verma is serving as an Assistant Director, School of Languages, CSJM University. She did her PhD from Dr Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar in modern American poetry, specifically related to feminine confessional literature. With several research papers and book reviews to her credit, she has also authored an authoritative book on Sylvia Plath and her second book is currently under production. She has executed multiple responsibilities concerning academics and student activities, while serving at various capacities in UIET, School, and University administration. She is a member of Royal Society of England and Associate Editor of JCMS (Journal of Literature, Culture and Media Studies). In addition to teaching and research engagements, her responsibilities include coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, curriculum development for BA and MA degrees in English and certificate programs of foreign languages, and general administration of School of Languages.
