This program offers advanced training in Tabla performance along with an in-depth study of rhythm and Taal in Indian classical music. The course focuses on rhythmic patterns, ancient and modern Taal systems, laya and layakari, and the study and reproduction of traditional compositions of Tabla and Pakhawaj. Through practical training, stage presentation and viva-voce examinations, students develop strong performance abilities along with deeper academic understanding of rhythm. The program prepares students for professional careers in performance, teaching, and research in Indian Classical music.
