B.Sc. (Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology)

About the Programme: B.Sc. (Biochemistry, Botany, and Zoology OR BBZ) degree course is a three-year (six semesters) undergraduate program. The main objective of the B.Sc. (BBZ) degree course is to provide deep knowledge of basic and advanced biological science along with professional training in biological, molecular, and clinical techniques to develop skilled personnel for different laboratories. Under this program, students will study three subjects from an advanced Biology stream (Biochemistry, Zoology, and Botany), elective courses related to other faculty, and co-curricular courses. The proposed program structure offers varied flexibility to the students in terms of course choice and exit routes. If any student decides to leave after one year, s/he will be awarded a Certificate in Clinical Biochemistry. In case any student chooses to leave after two years, s/he will be awarded a Diploma in Molecular Diagnostics. After completing a three-year course, s/he will be awarded a Bachelor in B.Sc. (BBZ).

Eligibility: 10+2 certificate, (Biology/Mathematics group) with 50% marks in aggregate, 5% relaxation for SC/ST/differently abled students as per norms.

Fee Structure: Rs. 30, 200/- annually
