Dr. Vivek Srivastava is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Rajkiya Engineering College (REC), Kannauj. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (now Harcourt Butler Technical University, HBTU), Kanpur, India. Dr. Srivastava has published more than 40 research articles in international journals and conferences. His research interests include soft computing, hybrid intelligence, biometrics, machine learning, and intelligent computing. He has served as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Engineering Science and Advance Research and is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), and the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), where he holds life membership. He has served as a reviewer for reputed academic publications, including the Journal of Supercomputing and IEEE Transactions journals. He has guided two Ph.D. scholars and 12 postgraduate research projects. With approximately 19 years of teaching and academic experience, he has also held several administrative positions, including Dean/Director and Controller of Examinations. In his previous institutions, he coordinated AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) and served as the Organizing Chair of international conferences.
