Dr. Anuradha Sharma

Bio Sketch/About
Dr. Anuradha Sharma is a sociologist, educator, and researcher whose work focuses on the intersections of social inequality, gender, and healthcare access in rural India. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Allahabad. Prior to her doctoral research, she completed both her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of Allahabad, establishing a strong foundation in classical sociological paradigms and English literature. Her academic merit was recognized nationally through the award of the prestigious University Grants Commission (UGC) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Teaching Experience Dr. Sharma has taught Sociology at the university level and previously served as Assistant Professor of Sociology at Integral University, Lucknow. She is committed to student-centred learning and encourages critical engagement with sociological perspectives on contemporary social issues. During the tenure, she served as the Course Coordinator for the B.A. (Hons) Sociology program and contributed to institutional excellence as a Criterion III In-charge for the Departmental Quality Assurance Cell (DQAC). Her administrative responsibilities have included managing program files, coordinating course offerings, organizing sessional and end-semester examinations, guiding student subject selection, and leading curriculum reviews as a member of the Board of Studies. Beyond academic management. In addition to classroom teaching, she has actively participated in professional development programs, pedagogy workshops, and student outreach initiatives
