Dr. Devanand Pathak is an eminent Hindustani classical violinist, educator, and researcher with deep roots in the Guru–Shishya Parampara tradition. He holds a PhD in Music from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, A Gold Medalist in M.A. (Violin) and UGC-NETqualified scholar, he also holds the prestigious Sangeet Alankar (Violin) and SangeetVisharad(Vocal) qualifications from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal,Mumbai. He honed his violin artistry under his Guru Late Prof. R. P. Shastri of the BHU. Dr Pathak is a violinist of All India Radio, Lucknow, and has performed widely on AIR and Doordarshan as well as major concert platforms across India. An empanelled ICCR artist and recipient of several honours, including the Sangeet Alankar Hari Om Trust Vaadya Puraskaar and First Prize at the U.P. Sangeet Natak Academy Competition, he is widely recognised for his concert excellence, pedagogy, and academic contributions to the Hindustani Classical tradition.
