Dr. Shalini Shukla serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Modern European and Other Foreign Languages at CSJM University, Kanpur. A dedicated academician, she holds a Ph.D., M.Phil., M.A., and UGC-NET qualification in English, and joined the university in 2023. Dr. Shukla has published extensively in Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed, and UGC-CARE listed journals, and has contributed several book chapters to reputed edited volumes. She actively participates in national and international seminars, webinars, and academic platforms that foster scholarly dialogue. At present, she is coordinating the Cyber Security Course and various Vocational Courses at CSJM University. She also serves as a resource person for AECC courses and English Communication Diploma programmes, contributing significantly to curriculum enrichment and skill-based learning. Additionally, she has authored Open Distance Learning (ODL) materials for the M.A. English programme. Prior to her faculty appointment, Dr. Shukla gained substantial postgraduate teaching experience during her tenure as a Research Scholar, which strengthened her expertise in higher-education pedagogy and academic development.
