Dr. Laxman Kumar has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Modern European and Other Foreign Languages at CSJM University, Kanpur in 2023. He earned his PhD from University of Lucknow. He has keen interest in Indian English Literature, American Literature, African Literature, and Subaltern Studies. Dr. Kumar has published numerous research papers in national and international journals and has presented papers at various seminars, workshops, and conferences. Prior to this, he taught for three years of experience as an Assistant Teacher of English, selected through Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. He is also a member of the Association for English Studies of India.
