About the Programme:

Bachelor of   Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Laws Honours is an integrated undergraduate program which focuses on the study of in-depth analysis and expertise in the Bachelor of Arts and all the relevant laws along with their practical implementation aspect. The program is structured in a way so that the students shall be trained for the Arts and Humanities subjects as well as litigation & adjudicatory practice. The daily interaction with the big wigs of the profession will help them groom for the professional world and will prepare them to be top notch in law.

Duration: Five Years

Eligibility:

Applicant who has successfully completed their Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent (Such as 11+1, “A” level in Senior School Leaving Certificate programme) examination from a recognized University in India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the programme.

However, the applicant who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation/Post-graduation through open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for pursuing such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme.

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission shall not below 50% of total marks in case of General category applicants, 45% in case of OBCs and 40% in case of SCs & STs applicant.

Seats Intake: Total Seats=66 (60 +6 seats for Economically Weaker Section)

Fee Structure : Rs. 60,200/- per Annum
