Dr. Sudhakar is currently a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Prior to joining CSJMU, he served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences–Mathematics at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) and subsequently worked as an NBHM Postdoctoral Fellow for three years. His research interests primarily lie in the mathematical analysis and implementation of finite element and isogeometric methods for partial differential equations. His recent research focuses on space-time isogeometric analysis of nonlocal parabolic problems and higher-order evolution equations, with emphasis on well-posedness, stability, convergence analysis, rigorous error estimates, and efficient solvers for the resulting algebraic systems arising from space-time isogeometric discretizations. He has authored more than 25 research papers in international SCI-indexed journals and has supervised many Ph.D. students. He is currently the Principal Investigator of an NBHM-funded research project.
