Prof Sangeeta Srivastava is a visiting professor in kathak dance. She is incharge of Music Department at D.G.P.G.College Kanpur. She is a renowned kathak artist and a disciple of Pt Durga Lal Ji , Dr Puru Dadheech Ji , Shri K. D. Srivastava Ji . She also learnt kathak techniques from Guru Pt Birju Maharaj Ji . She has organised 12 national seminars and conferences which were sponsored by UGC and Department of Higher Education ,Government of Uttar Pradesh. Around 24 students have been awarded Ph.D. under her guidance. She has published 10 books. She is a Convenor of Music in CSJM University.
