Dr. Dipesh Kumar Verma has expertise in the areas of structural biology and protein biochemistry. He worked as a post-doctoral fellow for 2 years at Upstate Medical University in New York, USA. He holds a Ph. D. degree in structural biology from the Institute of Microbial Technology Chandigarh. He has qualified CSIR-JRF, DBT and GATE fellowships in 2012. He has published 14 SCI indexed research articles in reputed journals such as Journal of Biological Chemistry, Microbial Biotechnology, Microbiology Spectrum, Applied and environmental microbiology, Frontiers in Microbiology etc. He has presented many papers on his research expertise at various international conferences in India and the USA. Dr. Dipesh is also the reviewer of the Bio-protocol journal. He is passionate about working on drug discovery and drug repurposing projects using both structural and functional approaches. He is also interested in studding protein localization in photoreceptor cells of retina using high-end microscopy techniques.
