Dr. Ekta Khare has been serving as Assistant Professor at CSJM University since 2011. She completed her doctoral research “Mechanism of action of PGPR against phytopathogens” on CSIR fellowship (CSIR-NET-JRF) from, CSJM University, Kanpur. She went as post doctoral fellow to work in the laboratory of Prof. Kui-Jae Lee at the Division of Biotechnology, College of Environmental and Bioresource Sciences, Chonbuk National University, Iksan, Republic of Korea in 2015. Dr. Khare’s primary research concern is for environmental sustainability. Her thrust area is the study of microbial solutions for agrochemicals, non-degradable polymers/compounds and exploration of microbes for novel activities (especially endophytes). She has over 30 publications in the area of plant-microbe interactions, microbial metabolites.
