Department of Mathematics, School of Basic Sciences, UIET, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur has organized National Mathematics Day 2022 on 22nd December on the occasion of the birth ceremony of great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The inauguration was done by the Director UIET Dr. Brishti Mitra, Dr. Varsha Gupta, Dr. Saswati Sarkar, and the deputy director of the School of basic sciences Dr. Anju Dixit. It was organized by coordinator Dr.D.K Singh, Dr.Namita Tiwari, and all the faculty members of the Mathematics department. Dr. Durgesh Singh has briefly talked about the teachings and struggle of great mathematician Ramanujan’s life to motivate the students. Dr. Raghvendra Singh explained the Paradox and Magic square of Ramanujan. On this occasion Dr. Awanish Bajpeyi, Dr.Rashmi Dubey, Dr.Ratna Shukla, Dr. P.N.Pathak Dr. Sandeep Porwal, and Dr.Izhar Ali Khan were present. This program was conducted under the supervision of the Director School of Basic sciences Dr. R.K Dwivedi.
