A national conference on New Trends in Applied Mathematics – NCNTAM 2021 was organized by the Department of Mathematics , UIET  ,  CSJMU  during  11-12  October  2021  on the occasion of Prof. Harish Chandra’s birthday. This conference was held in the virtual mode. The conference provided a platform for academicians, researchers and industry professionals to present their research findings and exchange knowledge in the fields of Applied Mathematics and its applications. 267 participants (both national and international) attended the conference. The eminent speakers in the conference included Prof. Kalyan  Chakraborty , Director  Kerala School of Mathematics, Prof. A. K. Mishra, Department of Mathematics, BHU, Prof. S. S. Mishra, Dr. R. M. L. Avadh University, Prof. K. Srinivasan Rao, Director (Hon), Srinivasa Ramanujan Academy of Math Talent, Chennai, Prof. Ammeya Nayak, IIT Roorke. In the paper presentation session more than 100 participants presented research papers and shared their views for technological progress and research outcomes in the area of Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
