ABOUT     

Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 1996 . It is currently offering an Undergraduate program of B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 66 (60+06 EWS)  students. The Department has well equipped laboratory and research facilities to cater to the need of UG program. Department also extends Testing and Consultancy work for local Industries.

To be a centre of excellence in Mechanical Engineering education and research for the benefit of global society and humanity.

MISSION

1. To transform our students into employable technologists.

2. The graduates will be educated and trained to contribute in manufacturing and allied  sectors. 

3. The graduates will be imparted multidisciplinary competence to enable them to contribute in higher education, IT and IT enabled services, research and development organisations. 

4. The graduates shall be finished for employability and professionalism by involving experts from commerce, industry and small enterprises.
