CSJMU, Kanpur is offering a course on “Cyber Security Skill Programme” in collaboration with C3i Hub, IIT Kanpur for their students. The course is supported by the Department of Science and technology, NM-ICPS (National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber- Physical Systems), Government of India. The program is Free of Cost for SC/ST students and is offered with a fee of Rs 2000/- for other students.

This course explores the most critical elements beyond technology that shape the playing field on which cybersecurity problems emerge and are managed. The course covers system security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, and IoT security. It is a fully online course providing students both fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience. An integral part of the training is customized labs at every student’s desk through the Cyber Range.

Objectives of the Course:

• Focuses on the models, tools, and techniques for enforcing security, with some emphasis on using cryptography.
• Provides a deeper understanding of the technical basics of cyberspace and cyber issues.
• Provides learners with a baseline understanding of common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Introduces real-time cyber security techniques and methods in the context of the protocol suites to introduce the need for network security solutions.

Under the MoU with CSJMU, For Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University (CSJMU) & its affiliated colleges, the fees are Rs2000 for male and Rs 1500 for female. (Please ensure to give correct enrollment number otherwise candidature will not be considered.)CSJMU students need to submit their enrollment number, Please note that the enrollment will be verified at University end. In case it is invalid, candidature will be cancelled immediately.

Note: Students other than CSJMU, Kanpur the fee applicable is Rs 4999
