About the Programme: M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology is a two-year postgraduate program with four semesters. This program provides studies in a rapidly emerging area of biopharmaceuticals, that deals with DNA and Protein-based medicines, drugs, and vaccines. This is an interdisciplinary program that involves a combined study of various techniques and theories of subjects such as Fundamentals of Pharmaceutical Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, Recombinant DNA Technology, Immunology and Immunotechnology, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Protein Engineering, Drug Discovery and Development, Toxicology, Entrepreneurship, IPR, Biosafety and Bioethics, Bioanalytical Techniques, Nanomedicine and Biomaterial Technology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Novel Drug Delivery Technology, etc.

Eligibility: 10+2+3 degree (B.Sc. Biology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate (relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/Differently abled students as per norms).
