Certificate programme Requirement :
1. Yoga / Gym & Personal Trainer Instructor: The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+ 2 scheme of examination or any other equivalent examination) recognized by the Government with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
Note:- (Preference will be given to the players, Physical Education Teacher, Social worker, and sponsored candidates from Institute/organizations)
2. Lifeguard (Swimming Pool) : The candidate should pass the 10+2 examination/equivalent examination conducted by CBSE/ State or UT Board / Open School Board.
Medical Fitness – Candidates should be medically fit and sound as certified by the competent authority.

Admission Test : Admission to the certificate programme will be granted on the basis of marks secured in the admission test.
(a) Physical Fitness Test (50 Marks) :- The Marks will be awarded in Physical Fitness on the basis of performance in 50 meters sprint, broad jump, overhead back throw (medicine ball), and 1000 meters run/walk.
(b) Written Test (50 Marks) :- General reasoning & Sports General Knowledge
(c) Skill Test (50 Marks) :- In respective Game/Sports
Duration of the programmes : 45 Days/ Six (06) Weeks
Jobs Prospects : With the ever growing demand of trained sports coaches to scout and train potential sports persons at the grass root levels, this 6 week Certificate programme of sports coaching/training is specifically designed for those candidates/ sports persons who have flair for sports and wish to opt training / coaching profession as a career. The programme provides them with an opportunity to acquire to at least the basic qualification deemed essential for training / coaching at beginning and intermediate levels.
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) : The programme gives an understanding and exposure on health and fitness management, fitness training, facility and weight management, designing the fitness training programme for different categories, fundamentals of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, and recovery.
Program Outcomes (POs) : The programme will also facilitate employment for them as Trainers/ Instructors/ Coaches in fitness centers, gyms, health clubs, sports clubs, sports academies etc.
